SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING (SIL)
Supported Independent Living services aims to assist our clients to live as independently as possible while building their daily living skills. SIL is most commonly used in shared home arrangements where we assist our clients with personal care tasks while supporting them to maintain or increase their independence level.
SIL includes:
Support with supervision, safety and security.
Assistance with personal care tasks.
Assistance with capacity building tasks (meal prep and cooking, cleaning, routine development, etc.).
Behaviour support and social skill development.
Administration of medication.
Support for medical appointments.
Community access that is not routine or regular (e.g. support to complete personal tasks).
Support to get to/from community access activities (where this is the participant’s preference).
ALLIED HEALTH/THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT
We provide all kinds of Therapeutic Support for children and adults with disability or development delays. The programmes can be tailor-made for individual needs too.

SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION
Our short-term accommodation is designed to be a home away from home where we provide tailored personal care for our clients throughout the day. This is also an opportunity for carers to take a break and recharge to carry on with their caring role whilst their loved ones are taken care of in a safe, enriching and comfortable environment. Our service provides:
Short term accommodation and NDIS
Short term accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from your usual home. It covers the cost of your care in another place for up to 14 days at a time. You might have a short stay with other people, or by yourself. It’s often funded when your usual carers aren’t available, or for you to try new things. Our Short-Term Respite supports eligible participants to live in comfortable accommodation for a short period of time. Respite care also includes support for self-care, food, and activities.
COMMUNITY ACCESS
We support our clients to participate and contribute to social and economic life. Our support workers will accompany and assist our clients to attend social events/ activities and appointments. Your social lives are very important to us and enable best way to live well and community access support enables opportunities for connection with others.
COMMUNITY NURSING CARE
Livewell Care Services has nurses who are trained in a whole range of community nursing care. From Children to specialized adult care, our nurses will help you with with variety of nursing procedures and assements.
DAILY LIFE SUPPORT
We are able to assist our clients with their activities of daily living. These include but are not limited to:
Managing household routine
Personal care
Support with problem solving
Transport to enable our clients to participate in social activities and community resources.
Transport to medical and allied health care services.
